Central Punjab Broadband Initiative
Project Overview
The Central Punjab Broadband Expansion project focuses on bringing high-speed mobile broadband services to communities that previously lacked adequate connectivity.
The initiative covers 778 underserved mauzas across Okara, Pakpattan and Sahiwal, representing approximately 1,540 square kilometres and a population of around 570,000 people.
The central objective is straightforward: bring reliable high-speed connectivity to communities outside the country's major urban centres, so residents can participate more fully in the digital economy.
