- Extending high-speed connectivity
- Supporting broadband deployment
- Improving mobile backhaul availability
- Creating infrastructure for future digital services
Implementation
The deployment requires extensive route planning and engineering across rural and semi-urban environments. Project activities include:
- Network route surveying
- Fiber route engineering
- Civil works
- Optical cable deployment
- Fiber splicing
- Network equipment installation
- OTDR and optical testing
- Commissioning and handover
Strengthening Southern Punjab
The project contributes to a broader shift toward fiber-based telecommunications infrastructure across Southern Punjab.
By increasing the availability of high-capacity backhaul, it creates opportunities for broadband providers and mobile operators to expand services into communities previously constrained by limited network capacity.
